The beginning of a vision


When I was exercising, I noticed the same thing over and over again: There were bars, shakes, and powders everywhere – but none of them felt real, honest, or sustainable. Everything was industrial, artificial, and far removed from what the body truly needs.


I'm Gabriel Herrnhofer, a 19-year-old entrepreneur from South Tyrol. And I wanted to create something that was more than just a snack: a product that combines health, sport, and ethics.


From failure to breakthrough


The initial idea was born quickly, but reality was harsh. Our first prototypes were dry pieces of flavorless meat. Hard, bland, disappointing.

We could have given up. But this is exactly where our real story began.


We asked ourselves: How can we refine meat in such a way that it provides strength – while simultaneously showing respect for both the animal and the human? Our goal wasn't industrial processing, but rather a gentle technology that preserves nutrients, flavor, and naturalness.


Tradition meets innovation


On this path, I met Alexander Holzner, a master butcher from Lana. A man with decades of experience and a pioneer of stress-free slaughter, ethical beef, and the holistic utilization of animals.


He brought the craftsmanship, I brought the vision. Together we found the key: We combined innovation and tradition, young thinking and ancient knowledge. From this union, something new emerged – Carnethics.

Carnethics means rethinking meat – unlike anything you’ve ever known before.
